TSamur was given Environmental Impact Assessment (CED) by Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning in the year 2000 and since then we strictly keep our emissions in confirmity with the official parameters declared by the Ministry. In this regard, there are two types of facilities in our mill; biological and chemical treatments. We are so successful in the water treatment that the fishes put into a glass cattle filled with the waste water after the treatment can survive at least a couple of weeks.
Electricity Production
Our mill’s electrical energy requirement is met by in house cogeneration unit with 4,4 MW capacity. It is operated by natural gas. Our cogeneration unit is eco-friendly and gas emission is set zero. Hot water and steam passed through exhaust gas boiler are re-used in the production departments where it is needed.
